(More customer reviews)The Gomadic Vent Holder is an excellent accessory for your GPS, but a few items need to be made clearer. I have a Garmin Nuvi 760 which I could not get to fit. To their credit Gomadic's web site solved the problem by pointing out that the vent attachment can rotate 90 degrees (not obvious). In that orientation, the 760 fits although it doesn't look as elegant.
The second item is that the default holder for the 760 is a suction cup mount which also is the interface for the 12V adapter. With the GPS in the mount, it fits poorly in the Gomadic (with the suction cup removed). This is solved by using the mini-USB 12V adapter which is much less bulky, and makes the suction cup mount unnecessary.
The one design issue I have is I would like for the mount to allow a more vertical orientation of the GPS receiver. The vents in my car (Honda Accord) are rather high, and the Gomadic limits the vertical orientation a little too much. It is a minor item, but one that could be easily corrected.
