(More customer reviews)I had high hopes that this product would connect directly with my TomTom 740, as the product description states. In fact, it is a mini usb connector which ONLY connects to the windshield mount on which the 740 is placed. It will NOT connect to the 740 directly.
Gomadic stated when I brought this to their attention that they only ship plugs that connect to the original package. Well, my response was that they need to change their product description since it is misleading. It even shows a direct cable hookup to the 740. Not possible with this cable and adaptor.
