Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)Really had no idea how bad it was from both the Bushnell web page and the other pictures I had seen in magazines and on the internet.
Pro's: Haven't found many yet.
-Good quality when you happen to have the right map
-XM radio lets you listen to music
-XM traffic lets you see traffic on your GPS... if you happen to have the right map
-XM weather tells you the weather in your area... if you happen to have the right map
Con's
-You have to buy individual map segments from Bushnell... and they are TINY!
-You have to buy individual map segments from Bushnell... yes, you heard me, no wandering aimlessly about, if you didn't download the correct 10km X 10km spit of land, you have a blank, open, almost featureless map.
-Only a few major roads included, but NO smaller streets, if it isn't an interstate or a Highway it is NOT pre-loaded, and YOU GUESSED IT, you have to buy all the map segments from Bushnell-Menus are klunky and oldschool.
-Terrible web based interface for downloading maps, then wait... still have to use a weird "GPS Companion" software to load the purchased, downloaded maps to your GPSOVERALL:
-You have GOT to be KIDDING me! In todays world of phone GPS systems with traffic apps for free, this is a nightmare from the past. Thought I could take it hunting with me and have great Topo and aerial maps of areas I wanted to hunt... no such luck if I happen to wander 1km outside the area I purchased from Bushnell, it is as if it simply doesn't exist. Literally fall off the map.
DO NOT BUY UNDER PENALTY of being an IDIOT! This GPS is better left to our enemies to get lost with.
