(More customer reviews)I bought this product about three weeks ago. At first it did not show the full USA map, only Canada and north US. I called tech support and they helped me reset it (it took several tries). It works best with the external antenna, and it picks up the satellite signal really well even in inclement weather. The user manual in badly written, as there are no instructions on how to load music or pictures and it also does not tell you what the functions of the "buttons" are. I'm having a problem with the electrical charger at home, but works well in the car. The audio in the unit is so low, that you have to shut off the radio, and close the windows if you want to hear anything, works a lot better with the external ear piece. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it an 7.5 for performace and a 3 for user friendly.

(More customer reviews)After a number of years of faithful service our TomTom One battery gave out. I purchased this battery for a very reasonable price however I felt the shipping charges were a tad bit high. It is actually just a bit smaller than the battery it replaces. The packaging indicates that it is intended for use in a PDA. The connector is compatible and plugs right in. The rating on this Lithium Ion battery is 1300 mHr exceeding the 1100 mHr battery that came with the unit. There were no markings indicating the composition of the old battery but I do not believe it was a Lithium Ion Battery. It came about 50% charged and unless it does not come up to a full charge (which I do not believe will happen) I am very pleased with this unit. I hope this will help.

TomTom One 130S 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator (Factory Refurbished) Review

(More customer reviews)This is my first GPS purchase. I researched various products at wildly different pricepoints on the web before choosing the refurbished TomTom One-130-S. While it may not have all of the bells and whistles of the more expensive models, it is very functional. I was somewhat disappointed that TomTom's "Latest Map Guarantee" does not apply to refurbs, but a call to customer service led me to find that the unit's map was only about six months old...so no problem. I've tested the unit on destinations that I normally travel and found that when I deviate from the suggested route, the TomTom quickly recalculates wihout insisting on making a U-Turn. I've also used it on trips to unfamiliar areas and was very pleased with the quality of the direction.The feature of having the voice identification of street names is definately worth the few extra bucks over the standard One-130. I am very pleased with this product.
