Car Mount with Flexible Gooseneck + 3.5mm Aux Cable (5 Ft.) for the Samsung Intercept - Incl. DBROTH Microfiber Cleaning Cloth Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)When I received this mount, I promptly tried to install it in my car to complete failure. When I showed it to my husband, he noticed the suction cup had 2 holes in it, which means it can not hold suction. I used super glue to plug the holes and now it does work. (At least it has stayed on for 24 hours). It was easy to insert my Samsung Intercept after it had been installed. It does vibrate some since it is on such a long neck, but I am ok with that. It's better than driving with my phone in the cup holder while using the GPS. It provided easy viewing without blocking my view of the road. But I shouldn't have had to fill in any holes to make it work...

Car Mount with Flexible Gooseneck + 3.5mm Aux Cable (5 Ft.) for the Samsung Focus - Incl. DBROTH Microfiber Cleaning Cloth Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this car mount in hopes of being able to use my phone hands free without my bluetooth. It broke after three days. The vent clips broke off and wound up in my vent, and I can't fish them out. The suction part is terrible and didn't stay up. The overall product is not durable at all and it broke very easily. Very "cheap" looking.
Even for the three days it did work, the clamps that held my phone in place would always push on my side buttons. Every time I put my phone into the holder my camera feature would activate (Samsung Focus). Also, the wobbling of it when used with the suction cup was a bit annoying. Every bump I felt like it was going to come off the window, and it did.
The best part of the product is the 3.5mm aux cable and the microfiber cleaning cloth.
Don't buy this product. Make a better investment and buy something of better quality for a bit more money.

(More customer reviews)When I first got this, one of the padded clamps that holds my phone in place had broken off, a replacement was sent out, but after using it once, the same piece is about to fall off. Overall, the quality is not very good at all. Even if it wasn't broken, I'm not sure I feel very confident it would hold my phone anyway. I would advise against purchasing this...

OtterBox Waterproof Universal Case (Clear) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We actually purchased this container as a geocaching container and so it is out in the elements 24/7. It has been through crazy storms, downpours, etc and it has stayed perfectly dry. No leaks at all. It is also tough and no animal has been able to crack it. The only downside is the container is very tough to close and I'm worried that eventually the force necessary to close this container is going to eventually break the 2 close hinges off.

(More customer reviews)Good Price, fast delivery, as advertised. There isn't a lot of stuff out there for the voyager. Verizon stores don't carry much either. My favorite so far is the Body Glove snap on case. It is a little better quality than this one. This is a good case for the price and looks pretty cool.

Incase GPS Travel Kit Nylon - Silver (CL58018) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Though slightly overpriced in my opinion, I have continued to purchase Incase products over the last several years for one reason: Their design sensibilities (both from an aesthetic and functional perspective) are top notch. This item is no exception.
Don't limit this to only a GPS case. I actually purchased this case not for a GPS but for another piece of gear. It features a roomy, plush, padded main pocket for your GPS (or other device) and an assortment of other small pockets perfect for other cables and accessories. A front zippered pocket is small, but well suited for a small remote or USB cable.

Garmin Hard Carrying Case for Colorado Handheld GPS Units Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have not always been happy with Garmin's cases for their GPS receivers. The case that they made for my 60CSx was awful. This case for the new Colorado unit is a completely different story.
What I like about it is that you have two different mounting options. One is to use the removable carabiner (or "D" ring) to clip onto your belt, belt loop, bag strap, etc. The other is a velcro strap that allows you to hook it on your belt without having to practically take your belt off (as you do with a simple sewn closed loop). Both secure the case well, however I prefer the velcro loop since the carabiner looks a little too mountain-climby for me when I am geocaching in an urban setting.
The case is closed with a standard clip that allows for one-hand operation. The front of the case drops open giving the user access to the GPSr. I was worried at first that when you open the case the unit might fall out. This seems to be a real possibility in my tests, but you have to be at an awkward angle for it to happen (which is very likely when mountaineering, geocaching, rock climbing or even hiking ). Also, you can close the case without the groves being lined up and hence off-set. I have to believe that this would compromise the water-resistance of the case.
Overall I really like this Garmin case. It is a well thought out accessory for the Colorado GPSr. It will certainly protect your investment and look pretty cool while doing it.

DeLorme Slip Case for PN series GPS (Black) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Expensive for what it is, but try to find something that fits as well as it does for less. All in all, it does just what it supposed to do, fits like a glove and protects the GPS pretty well from rough use. Not crazy about the clip, but least you can take it off. Also, the velcro will eventually wear out as they always do and it does it will probably be time for a new one. If you don't take it off (you have rechargeable batteries) the GPS it might be a moot issue, but if your using disposables - the velcro will eventually wear out before the case does. Delorme should have put in a snap of some kind and not relied on velcro to keep the top closed. In closing, expensive, could have been a tad better but keeping it as there's really not much better anyway.

Garmin Hard carrying case Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This carry case for the Garmin Oregon GPS is too big and bulky to use. It looks like it was designed for the Colorado model and they just applied it to the Oregon model. Sure it works, but it is way to tall. It could be an inch shorter. The Oregon mounts inside via an attach strap and velcro which puts it at the far bottom end with an inch of dead space at the top. Also, it is way too thick (2.25"), as it has to be to accomodate that big attach clip and velcro inside. And the attach strap on the outside (velcro) to attach to your pants belt, well it is backwards. To use it, leave the velcro attached and unhook your belt from your pant loops and thread it through the case loop. The case does have a quality carabiner attached and is quality made. And it is made, so when you open the case, when it is on your belt, it opens 90 degrees with support straps so the GPS can be read at belt level without taking it out of the case. I will get a smaller beltloop type soft case like a Caselogic or similar to tot my Oregon with me.

DeLorme Earthmate PN Series Carrying Case Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Used it sheep hunting in MT. Attaches easily and securely to backback strap - good there. Case is too tight though, hard to get GPS out. Forget about using the battery storage built in - if you do, you can' get the GPS out of the case. I ended up tying a short loop of cord throuh the top loop of the GPS to be able to quickly extract the unit from the case. Other issue with hunting is the large velcro secured flap that covers and stows the GPS. It's LOUD when opening - I'm considering modifying it with a snap-lock buckle. Really, you don't need the velcro strap - the unit fits snug enough not to need it.

Garmin eTrex Carrying Case Review

(More customer reviews)The Garmin Carry Case is a nice addition to the eTrex GPS. The case is well made and covers most of the unit with its protective material. The buttons on both sides of the GPS are exposed and easy to access and the click stick is also exposed and easy to access (contrary to another reviewer's comments). There is a belt clip and metal loop on the back to help fasten the unit however you want. Overall, if you're like me and prefer to keep your toys clean and unscratched, the Garmin Carry Case is for you.

Garmin Carrying Case for GPSMAP 60 Series Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased this cover to protect my 60cs and it does exactly what I had hoped. The cover is elastic on the back and has a rubber-like material on the sides and top which enables you to get a good grip on your GPS. The front of the cover is made of plastic which extends the length of the view screen as well as the buttons.
I do however, have some gripes about the cover. The plastic cover can make entering data with the rocker pad tedious because even though you are pressing the rocker one way, the plastic causes the rocker to respond another way. I would rather have seen a separate cover for the buttons that was a bit more pliable. Also, you have to take off the cover if you want to plug your GPS unit into your computer via the USB cable. An opening in the cover would have made this easier. Lastly, the cover does not work with the handlebar mount for the 60cs. I really wish that it would because it is on the handlebars of my bicycle that I need the most protection. Therefore, I also bought some plastic screen covers to attach to the front face of the GPS to prevent it from getting scratched. However, the plastic screen covers and this cover do not play well and I have found that the cover pulls the plastic screen covers off.
The 60cs is a big investment. Despite the flaws in the cover design, it is definitely worth the extra cost of buying this cover. And pick up some plastic screen covers as well.
